Chemnitzer FC already seemed to be on the right track in the 6th minute, but benefited greatly from a mistake by Erfurt. RWE goalkeeper Schellenberg played the ball straight into Wolter's feet, who promptly scored and scored the lead. In the 30th minute, however, the guests also showed their finishing ability. Chemnitz had more chances with a numerical advantage until the final whistle, but the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
