German Ice Hockey League (DEL)

The PENNY DEL is the highest German ice hockey league and offers thrilling duels between the best teams in the country. The record champions are Eisbären Berlin with ten titles, followed by Adler Mannheim and EHC Red Bull Munich. German Ice Hockey League 2 (DEL 2)

DEL2 is the second-highest German ice hockey league and thrills fans with exciting games. It has been organized by the Eishockeyspielbetriebsgesellschaft (ESBG) since 2013/14 and is the most popular second league in Europe. The Dresdner Eislöwen and the Kassel Huskies are regularly among the best teams. In 2023/24, the Eisbären Regensburg won the championship title. DEL2 remains an important competition for teams that want to move up to the DEL.
