Davis Cup – A look back at history
The Davis Cup is the most traditional team tournament in tennis and has been considered the unofficial tennis world championship of nations since its inception in 1900. What began as a duel between the USA and Great Britain has developed into a global competition in which more than 140 nations now participate.
