A look at history
There have been two encounters between Veolia Towers Hamburg and Śląsk Wrocław. Both games were won by the Polish team.
The games were hard-fought and characterised by intense defence on both sides. The first encounter took place in 2022 and ended 91:79 in favour of Śląsk Wrocław.
The last encounter
Veolia Towers Hamburg got off to a strong start and took a 15-12 lead in the 7th minute thanks to a three-pointer from Hollatz. Shortly before half-time, Brown narrowed the gap to 37-35 after a strong drive to the basket.
After the break, however, Wrocław increased the pressure. With accurate long-range shots and dominant rebounding, the Poles took control. Hamburg remained within striking distance until the final minutes, but ultimately had to admit defeat 86-80.
