La dolce vita on mountain peaks
The 2026 Winter Olympics will take place from February 6 to 22 in the northern Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Following the last Italian venue in Turin in 2006, Team Germany will once again be represented with its own German House. This time, the golf club in Cortina d'Ampezzo will serve as the central meeting place for athletes from Team Germany and Team Germany Paralympics. It will be a place for exchange, encounters, and shared experiences during the Winter Games.
The German House is considered the central meeting place for black, red, and gold at the Olympic and Paralympic Games—a true centerpiece of Germany's presence. Since 1988, it has brought together athletes, business partners, media representatives, and personalities from politics and society every two years under one roof to experience the world's biggest sporting events together. With its special atmosphere and close proximity to the competition venues, the German House offers ideal conditions for exchange, encounters, and networking.
The Cortina Golf Club
The Cortina Golf Club is perched above the famous winter sports resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo and combines traditional wooden architecture with a spectacular location – perfect for an atmospheric interplay of sport and nature. During the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, this special place will become the “Home of Team Germany” and open its doors to guests of the German House in February and March – right in the heart of the sporting action.
The mountain cluster in Cortina will host the competitions in bobsleigh, luge, skeleton, women's alpine skiing, and curling. The Paralympics will start there with the opening ceremony and will include para alpine skiing, para snowboarding, and wheelchair curling. The biathlon competitions will be held in Antholz, about 60 kilometers away.

Never change a running System
The German House will once again be the central meeting place for athletes, fans, partners, and the media at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. An alpine “Home of Team Germany” is being created at the Cortina Golf Club, combining proximity to the sporting action with an exclusive atmosphere.
In addition to public viewing, medal celebrations, and meet & greets, the German House will also offer its own performance hub for athletes. As a symbol of community, emotion, and athletic excellence, it is at the heart of Germany's Olympic presence.
