In 2015/16, the Lilies played in the Bundesliga for the first time in 33 years and secured their place in the league with pure fighting spirit. After relegation in 2017, years in the 2nd Bundesliga followed, characterised by passion, team spirit and an unwavering fan base.
In 2023, Darmstadt made it back into the top flight and showed that belief and community make anything possible. In the 2023/24 season, the team fought passionately to stay in the league, but after great effort, they had to make their way back to the 2nd Bundesliga.
